The 411

Emily Harper was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and has lived in Missouri, New Jersey and California. She majored in dance at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. In 2000, she landed a spot as a prestigious Laker Girl (a dance team for the L.A. Lakers NBA team), a gig she juggled with her studies until 2003, when she left the squad to concentrate on acting. While she was a Laker Girl, however, she got a taste of being on the big screen by co-hosting LAKERS TV, a celebrity chat show that aired on the Staples Center's JumboTrons during games.

In 2005, she landed her first contract TV role as Julian and Ivy's daughter, Fancy. Her first scenes that aired were taped on location in Las Vegas with on-screen love interest Dylan Fergus (Noah). Fancy quickly got caught up in Noah's (then going by "Ned") money problems, which landed them in a murderous adventure. They parted ways, only to run into each other again in Harmony, where both of their families reside. Fancy and Noah continued their romance while her mom, Ivy, and his dad, Sam, were engaged. "Foah" split after Alistair framed Noah so that Fancy couldn't trust him anymore.

In 2006, Fancy spent a lot of time with Luis in Rome. She soon fell for the cop, with whom she has butted heads because of her Aunt Sheridan. Fancy and Luis fell in love, but before they could get intimate, she was raped by a peeping Tom and innocent Luis was sent to prison for the attack.
