At Tabitha and Kay's place, Kay, Miguel, Noah and Paloma tried to plan out their wedding, but had trouble agreeing on the details. Paloma then realized that they needed to come up with a date, but none of the dates were working for all four of them.

Meanwhile, Tabitha searched her home for Miguel's letter, but Endora hid it from her. Tabitha believed the note had been stuffed into a doll's head. She tried to take the toy apart but couldn't. After, Tabby came down and found the two couples together. She ruined their excited mood when she noted that most marriages end in divorce. Kay insisted that their double wedding is going to be perfect. Noah made a call to the church, but the date they agreed on was booked. Tabitha thought it was a sign. "You've already turned your backs on the church by having premarital sex," she pointed out. "Even monkeys have more control." Privately, Tabitha offered to use magic to help them out, but Miguel stopped her. "I forgot — Derwood here says magic is a no-no," Tabitha sighed. Soon after, a bat suddenly appeared in the kitchen. Noah concluded that there was magic in the house, but Kay quickly covered that it was being run by remote control. Endora helped out by suddenly making a remote appear. Later, the church called Kay and told them the date they wanted is available. Miguel accused Kay and Tabitha of using magic to make the church available, but they both denied it. "I don't know what to think," said Miguel. "Thinking has never been your forte," Tabby snapped. Kay suggested they prove their innocence by taking a test that showed if they used it. Basically, it involved shining a flashlight-type thing on their hands. Both were found innocent and Miguel apologized. He then noted that everything works out without magic.

Fancy tried to figure out why she'd suddenly become enraged while at Sheridan's cottage. Pretty, who controlled Fancy's chip, gleefully spied on her confused sister until Luis caught Pretty in the act. Pretty lied that she was worried about Fancy's behavior, which was why she was watching her. Luis praised Pretty for being so caring, despite having been at odds with her sister. After he left, Pretty prepared to make Fancy have another "outburst." Luis and Fancy met up at the Book Café and she apologized for her behavior; she then suddenly lashed out at him for having cheated on her with Sheridan. Luis was determined to find out what was wrong with her. Pretty then entered the café and Fancy lashed out at her. Luis couldn't believe that Fancy would be so nasty to her own sister. Fancy stormed out and told them to leave her alone. Luis declared Pretty to be "amazing" when she planned to see if Fancy was okay. Fancy, now suffering from a headache, took a walk to the wharf. Pretty used the chip again to make Fancy kiss Noah.

In Mexico, Juanita talked and talked and talked while holding a gun on Theresa. Juanita laughed as she planned to kill Theresa's whole family. Theresa tried to distract her by tossing an item at Juanita; this only made Juanita angrier. Theresa told Juanita to think of Jesus; Juanita then freaked out. Just then, Pilar arrived at the compound, under the assumption that Juanita would take her in place of Theresa. Juanita continued to pontificate and hold up her gun, but not actually shoot anyone. Pilar gasped and whimpered, which only fueled Juanita's ... long-winded speech. Theresa tried to save her mom, But Juanita shoved Theresa out of the way. "You did this, Pilar!" Juanita bellowed. "You took away EVERYTHING!" Juanita then explained that planning revenge on Pilar gave her life a purpose. No wonder she was so reluctant to actually kill Pilar. Juanita took Pilar and Theresa to the room where Pilar killed Carlos (and was raped by him). She then announced that she'd lied to Pilar and was planning to kill both her and Theresa. But of course, as Juanita spoke about how she longed to hear their screams of mercy, she did nada. "Nothing you say will stop me," said Juanita. Not to worry.... keeping quiet seemed to be the key here in staying alive. Juanita grabbed Theresa and held the gun to her head but then changed her mind and got out what looked like a pirate's sword instead. Cool! Juanita explained that now that she runs Carlos's business, she's respected, then broke down as she remembered her husband. Curiously, she gave the women a one-night reprieve and warned them that they'd better not try to leave the compound. She swore that she'd kill them in the morning. Pilar and Theresa sobbed and hugged each other.

At the Book Café, Luis and Paloma discussed how Ethan believes Theresa has another man in her life. Luis then told his sister how bizarre Fancy was acting. They hoped Fancy didn't have a brain tumor.

Meanwhile by the wharf, Pretty activated Fancy's chip so she'd kiss Noah. Noah backed away from Fancy, reminding her that he's engaged to Paloma. Fancy replied that she doesn't care; she just wants to have sex with him. Fancy pushed Noah up against a wall, but he shoved her away. Later, Paloma and Luis went looking for Fancy. They were shocked to find Fancy and Noah kissing. Noah tried to explain himself, but Luis and Paloma wouldn't let him speak. "You have some explaining to do!" Luis bellowed. Well, yeah, Luis, but at least let the guy talk. After, Fancy couldn't recall making out with Noah. Pretty reactivated the chip and Fancy began passionately kissing Luis. He wasn't turned on, though, and was actually quite put off by her doing this. Noah tried to fill in Paloma on Fancy's weird behavior, but Paloma wouldn't hear him out and stormed off.... Pretty was pleased to see Luis so upset with her sister.

Ethan agreed to make the arrangements for Esme to become Viki's official guardian. Esme was pleased that Theresa had allegedly left Ethan, and planned to move in on him. She praised one particular feature of Ethan's. "Ethan has to die," Viki thought to herself. Esme admitted that she'd considered dating Julian, but thought Ethan was husband material. Viki had a fantasy where Esme and Ethan sent her to boarding school, and again vowed to stop Ethan from taking Esme from her. Esme offered to take Ethan to dinner to thank him, but he turned her down. She concluded that he was afraid to go with her since her dates always ended up dead, but Esme believed that Ethan would be the one to break the curse. As they flirted, Viki fondled the knife she had in her bathrobe pocket.

Gwen wondered where Theresa had disappeared to, but Rebecca didn't care; she just wanted Gwen to use the opportunity to get back together with him. Later, Rebecca and Gwen spied Esme and Ethan chatting. Gwen assured her mother that Esme wasn't interested in Ethan. After, Rebecca approached Esme and Viki and taunted Viki for finally talking. "Congrats on not being a freak anymore!" Gwen defended the teen, noting that Viki babysat for Jonathan. "That's a movie of the week waiting to happen," replied Rebecca. Becks then asked Ethan if he'd heard from Theresa, reminding him that Theresa had "cheated" on him. Ethan told her to butt out. Later, Viki walked slowly through the darkened Crane mansion and stabbed who she thought was Ethan.

In Mexico, an imprisoned Theresa and Pilar sadly awaited for Juanita to kill them. Theresa lamented not being able to enjoy a future with Ethan. She then began, uh, singing, as she recalled happier times with Ethan. Wouldn't screaming for help have made more sense here? Pilar was traumatized by the fact that Juanita had locked them in the room where she'd been raped by Carlos, and had killed him. Theresa did her best to comfort her mother and reminded Pilar that she did nothing wrong. Pilar's main concern was that her family's life was in danger. Theresa tried to look on the bright side: if she and Pilar were killed, Juanita would feel vindicated and leave the rest of the family alone. Pilar wasn't so sure and believed that Juanita would go after them, anyway. Still, she encouraged Theresa not to give up her dream of being with Ethan. Later, they tried to think up the code that would turn off the alarm to the compound; Pilar correctly concluded that it was the date of Carlos's death. They shut down the alarm and happily made their escape.

In Mexico, Pilar and Theresa tried to sneak out of Juanita's compound after turning off the alarm. Juanita was furious when she realized what she'd done. She fondled her collection of weapons and vowed to find and kill them. Juanita then berated her hit man for not being able to find them. Outside, Theresa suggested they head toward the ocean and steal a boat. At the wharf, they were cornered by Juanita's men.

A stressed-out Tabitha binged on a particular type of food as she argued with Kay and Miguel about Miguel's edict that she not use magic. They were interrupted by a tearful Paloma, who announced that Noah broke her heart. Kay apologized for her brother's behavior. She and Miguel then blamed Tabitha for Paloma's misery, but she denied it. Miguel didn't believe her, but Kay did. After, Noah came by Tabitha's, looking for Paloma. Luis followed him and questioned Noah about why he was kissing Fancy. Noah again insisted that Fancy kissed him.... Tabitha again fought with Miguel over using magic. Migs explained that as a good Catholic he has to stop witchcraft.... Later, Luis and Noah almost got into a fistfight, but Miguel broke it up. Miguel and Luis then tried to figure out where Theresa and Pilar had gone. Luis put in some calls and learned that they'd gone to Mexico. He and Miguel planned to go down there. Tabitha suggested using magic to help Theresa and Pilar, but Miguel turned her down. Noah offered to accompany the guys, but Luis replied that they didn't need his help.

Viki fantasized about Ethan being dead after stabbing someone in the darkened halls of the Crane mansion. But it wasn't Ethan she'd attacked; it was Rebecca. Rebecca was fine, but her main concern was that there was blood on her clothes. Soon, Sam rushed over and leaned over Rebecca to see if she was okay. Rebecca responded by kissing him. "I think she's fine," Sam announced. Sam concluded that the attacker was still in the mansion. Gwen didn't understand why someone would go after Rebecca. Julian noted that the servants all hate Becks. Meanwhile, Viki panicked and fled from the living room. Sam and Julian searched for the attacker, while Esme went to "comfort" Viki. Rebecca believed that Theresa was the stabber.... Viki hopped into her bed and pretended to be asleep. The men found a trail of blood leading straight to Viki' room. Sam questioned Viki about the culprit. Viki lied that she'd pretended to be asleep and she heard the person leave. Esme feared that the attacker was still close by.

While at the Crane mansion, Ethan got a call from a mysterious person, warning him that Theresa and Pilar were about to be killed by Juanita. When he told Gwen and Rebecca about the call, he noted that they seemed to know who Juanita is. Gwen explained that Rebecca read about Juanita online. Ethan wondered why they were in Mexico, and was determined to get to the bottom of it. Gwen feared that Ethan would learn that she and Rebecca had been blackmailing Pilar and had been in contact with Juanita. She tried to stop him from going to Mexico, but he insisted on traveling there.
