PASSIONS Recaps Week of Dec. 26, 2005

Friday, December 30, 2005
Alistair secretly spied as the guests arrived at the mansion for his murder party, unaware that the Mystery Woman was, in turn, watching him.

Noah arrived at the Crane mansion, followed by Ethan. Noah and Fancy informed Ethan that Gwen and Theresa were trapped in Jane's nursery. They headed upstairs to rescue the women. Gwen and Theresa were shocked to hear that Ethan left the hospital. Noah kicked the door down. Gwen asked a nanny to take care of Jane and Little Ethan in another room.

At Tabitha's, the witch expressed her concern to Kay about the mayhem the night was about to bring Harmony. Kay still insisted they weren't going to Alistar's party, especially because of the ice storm. A package arrived for Fox claiming that he was fired. Kay couldn't reach her beau on the phone so she headed to the mansion with Tabby to tell him the bad news.

Eve and Julian, and TC and Liz arrived at the Bennett house for Sam and Ivy's party, and were surprised to see that the hosts were not there. Suddenly their attention was called to a computer, which showed a video of Simone being intimate with a woman. Alistair spoke to the Russells via the computer and taunted them about their lesbian daughter. Al informed Sam's guests that everyone was at the Crane mansion. When Eve and TC refused to head to the estate, Alistair told them he was responsible for Simone being gay because he paid a woman to seduce her. TC vowed to kill Crane.

At the mansion with Chris and Katherine nearby, Alistair told Sheridan he was responsible for the death of Antonio and Luis and that he was also the reason she has never had a successful relationship. Pilar and Martin arrived to check on Theresa and the kids. Sheridan informed them that her dad admitted to killing their sons. Sheridan attacked her father. "You killed Rachel and that's something I will never forgive you for," Alistair told his daughter. Sheridan realized her nightmares about killing her mother were really about killing her aunt. Kat and Pilar explained why they didn't tell Sheridan the truth earlier. "You were only a child," Pilar sighed. Alistair disappeared.

Sam, Ivy and Fox looked for Ethan at the manse. Fox was surprised to see Kay, who handed him the package. She told him he was fired. Fox, Sam and Ivy were happy to see Ethan. The gang watched a video of Alistair welcoming his guests, then it showed Spike holding a knife to Jessica's throat. Through a recorded message, Alistair told Sam and company that Spike will either have sex with Jess or kill her. Noah pointed out to Fancy what a monster her grandfather is. They all headed to the west wing of the manse in hopes of saving Jessica.

Sam, Fox and Kay barged in to the room where Spike was holding Jessica and briefly thought the girl was dead. While everyone was tending to Jessica, Spike slipped out. Noah told Fancy he will kill her grandfather.

Alistair made an announcement through a speaker telling his guests to go to the living room. "Theresa, I hate to disappoint you, but we're not serving guacamole this evening," he cracked. Everyone wanted to leave, but Fancy wanted to hear her grampa's explanation for having the murder party. Theresa and Gwen decided to confront Alistair face to face. The others tried to leave, but were trapped. Tabitha told Kay that someone was going to die at midnight. Simone and Rae arrived. Simone thought Rae sent her a message to met there, and vice versa.

The Mystery Woman made herself visible to Alistair. "No, it can't be you," he said frantically. "I'm here to make you pay," she uttered. Al thought it was a hoax, but the woman proved she wasn't an imposter. "It's me, Alistair. Rachel. I've come back from the dead," she said.

Several clocks chimed as the clock hit 12, and the panicked guests braced themselves.

Outside of the Bennett house, Jessica told Spike she is done with him and wants to stay with her family. The pimp tried to make Jess feel guilty about leaving him alone on Christmas and asked her to be his date to a party. Jess refused to go until Spike showed her his bottle of pills. She headed off with the scruffy guy. Inside, Fancy tried to persuade Noah and Sam to attend Alistair's murder party. Noah managed to convince her to be his date to their parents' party. Sam realized Jessica was missing and began to search for her.

On the wharf, Jessica was high, but Spike fed her another pill. "Jessica!" Sam yelled from a distance. Jess passed out; Spike carried her away. Sam and Ivy just missed seeing Jess and Spike. It began to rain.

At Tabitha's place, Fox saw the party ad in the paper. Tabitha quickly covered her magic bowl when James peeked in it. Fox, Kay, Sheridan and Chris decided to stay away from Alistair's festivity. Tab's bowl showed her that everyone will be going to the murder party, even though they don't want to attend. After Sheridan, Chris and Fox left, the witch informed Kay that they are all going to the mansion. Kay didn't believe Tabby, and got dressed for Sam and Ivy's fete.

Alistair remained angry about the mysterious happenings around him. The Mystery Woman continued to spy on him. Al told a guard to get extra security for the party and not to allow any of the guests to leave without Alistair's permission. In a dusty, creepy room, the Mystery Woman talked about killing Alistair and pulled out a large knife.

When Fancy returned to the mansion to get dressed for Sam and Ivy's affair, she broke the news to gramps that she would not be there for his shindig. Theresa walked in and pushed away her husband's advances. "When I murder you, do you think I want witnesses?" Theresa snapped when Al accused her of placing the ad. Alistair forced her to get ready for their soiree.

Fox returned to Tab's in order to pick up Kay. Sam and Ivy arrived and told them they think Jessica is back on the streets.

At the hospital, Theresa pleaded her case as to why Ethan should choose her over Gwen. When Gwen tried to get her to leave, Theresa grabbed a sharp instrument. Theresa told Ethan that she saved him moments before Gwen was about to pull his plug. Eve explained to Ethan that tests showed he would never wake up. Theresa added that she is the only one who had faith and prayed that he would be alive and well. Gwen noted that Theresa also vowed to God to stay away from Ethan if he woke up. Ethan told Theresa to leave. "I sacrificed everything for you to have a second chance at life," cried Theresa. Ethan once again explained that he's married to Gwen and won't leave her, but urged Theresa not to return to Alistair. Theresa stormed off. A nurse offered Ethan reading material. He saw the "Murder is Announced" ad in the paper. Gwen left to get Jane out of the mansion before the party began. Pilar stayed with Ethan, who decided to leave to protect his family and the woman he loves. Pilar asked him who that woman is. Ethan said he wants to get everyone out of harm's way. Eve walked into Ethan's hospital room and Pilar filled her in on Ethan's intentions. Pilar called Sam to warn him that Ethan was on his way to the mansion. The ex-sheriff said he would make sure everyone was safe. Tabitha pointed out to Kay that half of the people who said they weren't going to Al's gathering were on their way to the mansion.

Theresa and Little Ethan walked into the nursery where Gwen was gathering Jane. Gwen told Theresa to take her son out of the manse, too. When Gwen tried to leave, the door was locked. Fancy tried to open the door from the hallway, but it wouldn't budge. A freaked out Fancy called Noah and asked him to come over to help the women get out of the nursery.

Just as Sheridan and Chris were about to head to Sam's, Sheridan received a text message encouraging her to attend Alistair's fete.

A soaked Spike showed up at Al's back door with an unconscious Jessica.

The Mystery Woman vowed that Alistair will pay for the damage he has done to the people she loves. She stabbed his picture with her knife.

It's a new day in Harmony — New Year's Eve. Ivy continued to be upset about Fox and Kay's relationship. Noah surprised Sam and Ivy by coming home. Jessica and Noah were happy to see each other home.

Alistair fretted about Noah being released from jail. He blew a lid trying to convince himself that "she" isn't back and it's someone pretending to be her. Fancy jumped into grampa's library and thanked him for releasing Noah. He took the credit. She asked what made him change his mind. He said he wanted to give Noah another chance to prove he's worthy of Fancy's love. The Mystery Woman listened from the hallway. Al showed his granddaughter the ad for the murder party and told her to be there and to make sure the Bennetts attend, too. He brushed off her concerns by saying it's simply a theme party. Fancy headed out. Spike arrived. Alistair roughed him up and told the pimp to get Jessica back from her family. Alistair kicked Spike out. When Al returned to his office, his desk was covered with red rose petals.

Gwen walked into Ethan's hospital room and ripped Theresa away from her husband's bedside. The women brawled. Gwen told Theresa that Ethan knows why he ended up in a coma; Theresa asked her rival if she also told her that he would be dead if she and Noah hadn't kidnapped him. Eve threatened to kick both of the women out if they continued to fight. Pilar walked up and was surprised to see Theresa dressed as a nurse. Pilar reminded her daughter about her vow to God. Theresa suggested Ethan choose which woman he wants to be with. Ethan woke up. Theresa told him that she's the only one who fought to keep him alive when he was in the coma. Gwen explained she didn't want to take him off of life support, but she was going to obey his wish. Ethan told the women to stop arguing. He asked Theresa to leave them alone.

Tabitha looked through her magic bowl and told Endora big trouble is on the way. Tabs suggested she and Endora leave Harmony, but then fireworks flew out of the bowl.

Fox, Kay, Sheridan, Chris and James had a snow fight around a snowman. Sheridan recalled making love with Chris the night before. James covered his eyes while Fox and Kay, and Sheridan and Chris kissed. Ivy privately called Valerie and demanded she break up Kay and Fox. Noah answered the knock at the door; it was Fancy, who informed him Alistair bailed him out. She showed him the party invitation in the paper and said Al he wants them all to attend. Fancy and Noah told Sam, Ivy and Jess that Al bailed him out. Ivy refused to go Alistair's New Year's Eve party, but Fancy tried to encourage her to attend. Ivy informed her daughter that they are having a party of their own. Fancy begged Noah to go with her to Al's fete, but he said no. When Jessica took the garbage out, Spike approached her.

Val interrupted Fox and Kay's fun in the snow with a work problem. Fox and Valerie left for the office. Tabitha invited Sheridan, Chris and James in for hot cocoa. Chris brought up the wacked-out turkey from Thanksgiving. Tabs explained she ordered the piñata from the Internet. Endora caused a cup to fly so that Tab would give the kids chocolate. Sheridan retrieved the newspaper from Tabitha's front door and saw the party invitation. Kay looked out the window for Fox. Tab taunted her about Fox choosing work over her love. They all discussed the murder party and decided not to go. Fox returned.

After Chad and Whitney kissed, he tried to encourage her to stay with him and Miles. Whit said she had to leave and never come back, explaining she can't be around him without wanting to sleep with him. While crying, she told Miles good-bye. Chad told Whitney to pray that they aren't brother and sister.

Chris told Sheridan he wants to make love to her. In the bedroom, Sheridan stopped Chris from kissing her. She explained that she wants the moment to be perfect, then left the room. Chris turned out the lights and started a fire. From the other room, Sheridan asked Chris to open a bottle of champagne. She returned to the room wearing black lingerie. "Make love to me, Chris. Make love to me," she said while kissing him.

In the hospital, Ethan told Gwen that he was surprised as to how long he was in a coma, then asked her what caused his condition. Gwen explained that it was Theresa's fault; that she poisoned guacamole meant for Alistair. Ethan remembered and couldn't believe how much pain Theresa must have been in to try to murder Al. Gwen was furious that Ethan defended her rival. He convinced Gwen that he will never leave her for Theresa. When they hugged, Ethan had a flash of Theresa's face. The nurse gave Ethan a sedative, and he told Gwen to go home and sleep.

Theresa arrived at Pilar's house and was greeted by Kay, Maria and Fox. Little Ethan was thrilled to see his mom, who told him he would see Ethan soon. Pilar reminded her daughter about her promise to God not to pursue Ethan if he lived. Theresa left, saying she was headed to see Jane at the mansion. Alistair barged into Judge Reilly's office, asking why he released Noah from jail. The judge told Al that "she" is back and out to destroy him. The Mystery Woman stood outside the office. Alistair denied that the woman has returned. "She is dead," he barked while pushing Reilly up against the wall. The Mystery Woman watched Alistair leave the office. When Theresa exited Jane's bedroom, Alistair attacked her. His assistant greeted him in his library. While the Mystery Woman watched through the living room, Alistair opened a red box filled with red rose petals and a knife.

Just as Kay, Fox and Maria were leaving Pilar's house, Miguel called. He asked his mother not to tell anyone he was on the phone. Migs said he is coming home.

Theresa, wearing green scrubs, panicked that Gwen would spot her outside of Ethan's hospital room. Gwen left and Theresa went in to see Ethan. He was sleeping, but she told him she doesn't think she can keep her promise to God.
